Comparative Studies of Cost Structure Among Airlines in China and LCCs in Western Countries

Abstract

Through comparing the cost structural differences among airlines in China and some other successful,typical low cost carriers(LCCs)in USA and European countries,this paper argues that the cost structure of the airlines in China still has room for reduction.With the comparison and analysis,this paper tries to find out the weak points in the cost-control work of airlines in China,analyzes the reasons and causes,and then brings forward several pieces of advice on how to improve the domestic airlines' cost-control work.
