Abstract
A two-degree-of-freedom control solution, based on modified internal model control,is proposed for multivariable time delay process which is common in industrial application. Its advantage is that not only the absolute decoupling for the minimal responses of system outputs can be implemented but also the control for set point response and the control for disturbance rejection can be adjusted independently. The two controller matrixes using compensating method guarantee the control system nominal performance and robust stability. Finally, simulation example demonstrates the validity of the proposed control scheme.
