Abstract

Tibet's urban development in the historical period has been in a slow process,performance in stunting the system of the city,small number and scale of cities,imperfect form and,the uneven distribution.However,Tibet was officially included in the central jurisdiction since Yuan Dynasty,especially since the Qing Dynasty,the cities have played an important role of solid the frontiersandstrong the district.This article focuses on since the Qing Dynasty the on the role of thesolid the frontiersandstrong the district,discusses the historical status of Tibet's city.
