Abstract

Personalized courseware is an important part of distance learning. This paper proposes a development frame for personalized courseware, and describes its functions. In the frame, the new generation Web language XML is adopted to B/S 3-tiered data exchange structure, and many advantages have been got such as reducing requirement for the Internet bandwidth, standardizing the data exchange, personalizing the courseware, and so on.
