Abstract
Objective To analyze the distribution of health human resource in primary health institutions in rural China.Methods Questionnaire was applied to collect health human resource data in 12 counties.Results In the town hospitals,52.31% and 56.82% of the health professional staff had technical secondary school diploma and junior title respectively.The ratio of doctor to nurse was 1∶0.34.In the village clinic,there were 14.55% of the health professional staff had no diploma,and 49.98% of them had no title.Less than 10.00% of the health professional staff in the village clinic was licensed(assist)doctor.Conclusions The educational and title level of the health human resource is low in rural China.The allocation of the health human resource is irrational.The licensed(assist)doctors are not enough.The construction of the health human resource should be enhanced in the rural China.
