Research on the Development and Evolution of the Urban Form in Chongqing:A Typical Sample of Mountain Cities

Because of the natural scenery frame, the urban form of the mountain city has its own material base which is different with the plain city,and Chongqing is a typical Shan-shui City and Three-dimensional City which is situated at the southwest of Mainland China.According to the historical sequence of development,this paper takes the Yuzhong Peninsula of Chongqing metropolitan area as the typical sample,and discusses the evolution of the urban form,the rule of development and the influencing factor of the mountain city.Furthermore,by the analysis on the development situation of economic and society, this paper discusses the possible development of the urban form of mountain city in future.
