A Perspective of Sino-Japanese Legal Cultural Intercourse:in Comparison of the Cause of Success and Failure

The exchange of legal culture between China and Japan clusters in two times:in the Tang Dynasty,Japan import a lot of Chinese legal culture;in the late Qing Dynasty,China import hurriedly of modern Japanese legal culture.This influenced the past as well as the future.The former in relatively successful from the aim and effect since it formed an era of laws and ordinations in ancient Japan;the latter is a failure to the Qing Dynasty although not so to the whole country.Comparison by virtue of time,background and persons,we can see different reasons are applied for each case.This has significance of inspiration to understand and evaluate Sino-Japanese legal cultural interflow and push forward the transplant of legal culture now.
