Abstract

Aimed at identifying the control effect of tectonic coal distribution on coal and gas outburst,this paper identifies the thickness of tectonic coal found in 7# coal seam structure by interpreting borehole logging curve and combined with field investigation and offers contour map of tectonic coal thickness in 7# coal seam structure,developed by using software Surfer 8 and gives an analysis of tectonic coal distribution of 7# coal seam.The results show that tectonic coal in 7# coal seam is found to be generally developed;eastern tectonic zone is better developed,with a greater variation in tectonic coal thickness;central tectonic zone has the stable distribution of tectonic coal thickness;and western tectonic zone is marked by relatively developed syncline core,with the two wings staying relatively smaller.Ida structure distribution is subjected to folding structure,faults and ground stress factors.
