The Usage and Function of the English Intonation

Abstract

The Chinese belongs to the tone language, while English belongs to the innovation language, that is, intonation does not belong to single word but words. English intonation is very complicated, so it adds the different meaning to the words——intonation meaning. Therefore, we will improve our English communication ability if we study some fundamental knowledge of the intonation.
