Progress in research of nateglinide and its analogues

Abstract

Nateglinide is a novel oral hypoglycemic agent used in type 2 diabetes.It is absorbed and eliminated in short time and made the blood glucose of diet in physiological control.The pharmacodynamic of nateglinide and its structure activity relationship are reviewed.Its two analogues of repaglinide and KAD 1229 and hybrid compound of nateglinide are also introduced.
