Abstract
The microstructure and mechanical properties of Cr12 steel deep cryo-treated by different processes were investigated. The results reveal that the deep cryogenic treatment can increase the hardness of steel to a certain extent and obviously increase its wear resistance, with the wear loss being reduced by 45% after deep cryogenic treating for 6 h.However, the impact toughness of steel quenched and subsequently deep cryo-treated and tempered at 180 ℃ for 8h has failed to be improved on.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
