Abstract

As Yan Yuan’s disciple,Li Gong inherits Yan’s thoughts,but to some extent,differences still exist.Major differences embody in epistemology,academic methodology,social political ideal,and other aspects as well.It is just the differences that help Yan’s thoughts achieve transcendence and development.Li Gong has brought it to a great height,making it become the Yan-Li Thought,which has profound influence on the later generations.
