Abstract
Four kinds of Mo/Cu alloys with different porosity were fabricated by adding different organic compounds and combining solid-phase sintering, and their thermal conductivity(λ) and coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE) were measured. The results show that the porosity in Mo-Cu composite has a great effect on λ value of the composite. The λ value of the composite declines acutely when the porosity of Mo-Cu composite increases. In some extension, the CTE value increases with the porosity reducing. On the other hand, the CTE value becomes degressive when porosity beyond some extension. The effect mechanism of porosity on theoretical λ value of the composite were discussed.
