Abstract
Objective To study the effect of propolis and ginkgo extract on blood lipids in patients with high blood lipids.Methods A total of 106 adult patients with hyperlipidemia were randomly divided into test group and control group.The patients in test group were given propolis and ginkgo extract,while the patients in control group took the placebo for 45 days.The relevant safety and efficacy indicators were measured at the beginning and the end of the test.Results There were statistically significant differences in CHOL and TG between before and after eating the test food(P0.05),moreover,as compared with before the test,the CHOL and TG decreased by 10.25% and 19.77% respectively after the test.There were statistically significant differences in the CHOL and TG between before and after the test in test group as well as between test group and control group after the test(P0.05).After the test,no statistically significant difference was found in the HDL-C between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusions Propolis and ginkgo extract can decrease the blood lipid of hyperlipemia patients effectively.
