Abstract

How to effectively retrieve and access to the different databases is a key problem to Digital Library. The article introduces the working theory and the structure of a middleware Net.Data developed by IBM,thus realizing the retrieval program which is across-plat-forms,cross-databases and supporting the distributed retrieval.
