Abstract
T3x6 reservoirs with a huge sum of the explored reserves in the Guang'an gasfield was declared to be the largest scale one in the Xujiahe Group of Sichuan Basin. Under the present situation of great demand for natural gas in the global market, it is high time for this reservoir to be thrown into production in high efficiency as soon as possible. Therefore, aiming at the reservoir in T3x6 characterized by gentle structure, structure lithologic composite traps, porous formations, undeveloped fractures, low porosity and low permeability, bad connectivity between sand bodies, high water saturation, complex relationship between gas and water, and low natural productivity of gas wells, some positive suggestions were put forward in development tactics, such as deployment as a whole, discrimination treatment, and performance step by step. Meanwhile, in order to mitigate the risk of investment in gas development, and to improve the energy utilization efficiency, new technology and techniques should be fully used to employ the productivity of gas wells to develop the gas reservoirs in a large scale with the maximum profit.
