Abstract
In order to find out the active components, the analysis on chemical composition of the leaf from Broussonetia papyrifera uangyechu through the technology of test tube and paper chromatography were accomplished. The results showed that the leaf contains phenols, amino acids, proteins, polypeptides, saponins, flavonoids and its saponins, sterols, and triterpenes. Then the main components in leaf were determined.Quantitative results were assaged as protein19.23%,lipid 2.72%,fibre 8.98% and flavonoids 1.08%,total amino acids 15.315%,in which 35.45% was essential amino acids. The trace elements(μg·g-1,dry mass) were: Fe 353.75,Mn 47.50,Zn 31.25,Cu 13.99,while the normal elements(mg·g-1,dry mass) were: K 16.2,Ca 17.5,Mg 5.878.The results indicate that the leaf of B.papyrifera is of high value.
