Abstract
The word 玍古(gagu) that is an official dialect word in northern China does not come from the language of Manchu nationality,but from 各(ge).In the contemporary dialect vocabulary system,玍古(gagu) has the similar meanings with 葛(ge) and 嘎(ga) who are cognate words come from 各(ge).All the original forms of 玍古(gagu),葛(ge) and 嘎(ga) are 各.
