Abstract

By using the properties of α-chain diagonally dominant matrices and applying some tech-niques for inequalities,we obtain in this paper some criteria for generalized strictly diagonally dominant matrices and nonsingular M-matrices,which improve current results. Finally,we provide a numerical example to illustrate the validity of our results.
