In contemporary China,especially in contemporary academic circle of China's mainland,the studies of historical figure Luo Jialun in The Republic of China have been consciously or unconsciously ignored for a long time as a marginalized dead corner Once the classical democratic solider Wen Yiduo accused Luo Jialun as a character whose success was relied on The May 4th Movement and finally degenerated to be an anti-democrat character.It seemed that a final judgment of Luo Jialun was pronounced in politics.However,it is of valuable and typical significance to penetrate the historical mist and break the long-term historically labeled or symbolized prejudice against Luo Jialun,and give new explanations to his life and thought from the studies of intellectual perspective.
