Abstract
Taking northwest quadrant transect of Zhengzhou as an example, through analyses of its green space landscape heterogeneity gradient, this paper explored the distribution of green landscape in urban spatial expansion. Results showed that the distribution of green space landscape in five gradient is extremely uneven, and the fringe area mainly constituted in vegetable plots, cultivated land, while gardens and greenbelts relatively lack, which directly influences the regional environment quality and recreational quality.Effective ways were effered to coordinate the relationship between urban development and greenbelts construction, and the countermeasures to green landscape planning of different gradient were also provided.
