Isolation and Biodegradation Characteristics of Degrading Fungus Isolated from Salt-soda Soil

Abstract

The predominant indigenous microbial population and the strain TJF1 PAHs-degradation were developed by selective enrichment culture from oil-contaminated saline soil in Dagang Oilfield.Morphology analysis revealed that strain TJF1 belonged to Penicillium.When PAHs initial concentration was 25 mg L-1,500 mg L-1 and 75 mg L-1,the degradation rates of phenanthrene and pyrene by TJF1 were separately 75.7% and 50.1%,41.3% and 27.9%,23.9% and 12.5%.Phenanthrene and pyrene could be biodegraded at different pH values ranging from 5.3 to 9.5 and different salinity ranging from 0% to 5% in the medium contains 100 mg L-1 phenanthrene and pyrene.Our results indicated that more than 63.8% of phenanthrene and 53.2% pyrene were degraded in the medium containing 0.8% glucose.
