Study on New Islanding Detecting Method for Grid-connected Power System

Abstract

The producing conditions and effects of islanding in grid-connected PV system are studied.There is NDZ problem in the conventional methods of islanding detecting.A new method using RPC is presented in this paper to resolve the problem.This method has the advantages of no NDZ,high response speed and no influence on active power output of system.The simulation results validate the feasibility of this method.
