Abstract
The Marxist concept of social developmet is a prerequite to and basis for the scientific concept of development,and the scientific concept of development gives expression to the Marxist concept of development in the new stage of socialism.As flesh and blood of the scientific concept of development,Deng Xiao-ping's idea of common presperity of the entire population,Jiang Ze-min's idea of keeping regional economies developing in a coordinated and healthy way and of bringing about the all-round progress of society are carrying further the inner soul and quintessence of the Marxist concept of development.Having a sound grip of the theoretical origin and the real bases for the scientific concept of develepment helps us uphold and implement the scientific concept of all-round,coordinated and sustainable development.
