The Integration of Heterogeneous Databases Based on XML Middleware

Abstract

In order to resolve data sharing and data processing of heterogeneous databases in network environment. a framework of integration of heterogeneous databases based on XML is proposed. The Middleware of XML is introduced. Then a new technology of mapping of XML and relational database is researched,which makes data the maximum preservation in the process of integration,and solves a series problem of database mapping which caused by heterogeneous databases.
