Abstract
The design of satellite orbit and constellation is the basis for satellite communication system,an effective scheme can improve the whole performance of the system remarkably.This paper presents a global-covered constellation design scheme of GEO/LEO double-layer satellite network that combines GEO satellite's strong processing capability with LEO satellite's low transmission delay,aiming at providing global real-time access.The design achieves global coverage with 48 LEO satellites by means of Street of Coverage.With computer simulation based on STK,the results show that the constellation can provide real-time and global coverage.
