Historical Review of the Development of Correspondence Theory of Truth

Based on the systemic review of the development of correspondence theory of truth,this paper holds that neoteric correspondence theory of truth is the juncture between classical correspondence theory of truth,which is a seed of the correspondence theory of truth,and Kant's theory of truth based on synthetical studying neoteric theory of truth in order to resolve the question of mutual relationship among universality,inevitability and objectivity.Marxist theory of truth,which is the tiptop of materialistic and empirical correspondence theory of truth,inherits and develops neoteric correspondence theory of truth,while modern correspondence theory of truth is founded on idealistic and empirical correspondence theory of truth and skeptical correspondence theory of truth.
