Effect of the Widening of Social Income Gap on the Construction of the Harmonious Society and Appropriate Solutions

Since the implementation of reform and open policy in China,the income level of Chinese people has been greatly raised with the rapid development of economy.For various reasons,however,some serious and unreasonable pheonmena have also arisen in social income distribution.The constantly sidening of people's income gap is giving rise to many social contractions,which directly affects the economic development and social stability.This paper analyzes the reasons for the widening of social income gap,and then expounds the negative and harmful effect of the serious inequality of income distribution on the construction of the corresponding changes and adjustments in the existing income-distribution policy and measures according to the goals and tasks of building the harmonious society for the purpose of gradually reducing the income gap and giving full play to the initiatives of all the people to promote the harmonious development of society.
