Abstract
Objective: To detect the expressions of PTEN,P53 and hTERT in type I endometrial cancer by tissue microarray, provide a more reliable theoretical basis for early diagnosis and treatment of endometrial cancer. Methods: The expressions of PTEN,P53 and hTERT in cases with type I endometrial cancer and normal endometrium were detected by tissue microarray and immunohistochemical method, then the results were compared with those of traditional immunohistochemical method. Results: The consistency of results of tissue microarray and traditional immunohistochemical method was good( Kappa value 0. 40,P 0. 05),the results were reliable. The positive expression rate of PTEN in type I endometrial cancer was significantly lower than that in normal endometrium; the positive expression rates of hTERT and P53 in type I endometrial cancer were higher than those in normal endometrium. Conclusion: Tissue microarray is a useful tool for researching endometrial cancer. Negative expression of PTEN and positive expressions of P53 and hTERT are related to formation and development of type I endometrial cancer, which can be used as markers for diagnosing type I endometrial cancer and predicting the prognosis.
