Innovation Ability Evaluation of the Service Industry:Theory and Empirical Data from Guangdong

This paper,based on the connotation and characteristics of service industry innovation,builds service innovation capability evaluation index system from the perspective of combination of technology and institution,and takes Guangdong Province as an example on for the positive test by applying factor analysis method.Analysis shows that the service sector innovation capacity continues to improve,but institutional innovation capability of the service industry contribute greater to the upgrade service innovation capability comparing to technology innovation capability.
