Abstract
Xu Chengmiao does not just take the prose poems as the filling material of daily life , he wants to make the prose poems become more condensed and plainer in spiritual connotation in the extension of the meaning of life . The spiritual element appears together with the nirvana baptism in Xu Chngmiao's prose poems. It is a close combination of inner sight and outer sight. We can find his spiritual intention in colorful and passionate description and well organized passages written according to his personal story and experiences. There often appear two Key words in Xu Chengmiao's prose poems, that is , revival and burning. They are the keys to open the door of Xu Chengmiao's prose poems . Either revival or burning can lead us to understand the richness of Xu Chingmiao's prose poems.
