Abstract
This study was carried out to investigate the effect of different concentrations of chitosan coating on preservation of postharvest Red Globe fruit stored under low temperature. Results showed that chitosan coating treatment could reduced the berrys' weight loss rate, delayed the descent speed of Vc,sugar and titratable acid content, and POD and SOD activities. However, the suitable chitosan content was 1.5﹪.
