The Nursing Countermeasure of Maintaining Blood Dialysis in Older Patient

Objective To discuss the nursing countermeasure of maintaining blood dialysis in older uremia patient.Methods To analyze the maintaining blood dialysis nursing of 132 cases uremia patients above 60 from January 2001 to June 2005 retrospectively.Results 67 cases stopped dialysis because of some reasons, 3 cases changed to peritoneum dialysis, 27 cases died of heart failure, brain bleeding , cardiac infarction, lung infection etc complication, 38 cases still were doing maintaining blood dialysis.Conclusion Maintaining blood dialysis complications of older patients were more, danger of them was big. The key to increase maintaining blood dialysis quality and length life is to do well psychology nursing of all dialysis course, inspect the change of state of the disease strictly, deal with complication promptly , strength the guide and management of bite and sup.
