Abstract
propyl acetate has been synthesized by using lonic liquid [bmim]PTSA as solvent and catalyst. The different reaction condition influencing on the eserifcation rate of propyl acetate were discussed. The optimized condition are follow: the [bmim]PTSA is 15mL, the mole ratio of alcohol to acid is 1.5:1.0, the reaction time is 2.0h . The esterification yield is 94.2%.The lonic liquid could be isolated from other matters and repetition use.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
