Abstract

In this paper, the development course of genetic markers was briefly retrospected. And the principle and characteristic of molecular markers techniques such as RFLP, RAPD and their application in plant genetics and breeding were introduced, such as construction of genetic map, analysis of genetic relationship and genetic distance, gene localization, and so on.
