The Preliminary Study on Water Resources Carrying Capacity in Kelerya River Basin

Water resources carrying capacity is one of the main materials basis related to a regional economic sustainable development and people's lives,the balance or not is related to the regional master plan.Based on the evaluation of carrying capacity of regional water resources,the relationship between water resources and socio-economic development,ecological environment should be handled to make water resources exert its maximum economic,social and environmental benefit overall,and water resources is one of the prerequisites to achieve regional sustainable development.Preliminary analysis and evaluation results show that the utilization degree of water resources development in Kelerya River Basin is higher,but the overall efficiency is not high,for now,still have some development potential,particularly outstanding water saving potential in terms of agricultural irrigation.As social and economic development,water supply and demand is bound to highlight,in this case,we must optimize the allocation of water resources and adopt a variety of water-saving measures to reduce agricultural water consumption,the water capacity can be further improved,and finally proposed ways to improve the water carrying capacity.
