Abstract
The pore-water-pressure distribution in the rock mass around the tunnel was implemented using the image well method by Harr(1962).And the effective stresses distribution induced by seepage from a pressure tunnel into a rock mass under a rock slope with impermeable surface are estimated using the Fernandez's assumptions(1994).The stresses distribution in the rock surrounding a pressure tunnel working state full of water and the stability of the rock slope are studied. When the pressure tunnel is designed under the Norway rule,it must be paid attention to the stability of the rock slope with impermeable surface.
