Analysis on the Offense and Defense Ability of the Chinese Man's Basketball team in the 29th and 30th Olympic Games

Using the methods of documentary analysis,video analysis and data statistics,the paper made a comparative analysis of the offense and defense ability of the Chinese man's basketball team in the 29 th and 30 th Olympic Games. The result showed:( 1) Comparing with the 29 th Olympic Games,the offense and defense ability of the Chinese man's basketball team presented the trend of decline in the 30 th Olympic Games,especially in the number of TPS and % FT.( 2) The reasons were that the defense ability was poor,the conversion speed between attack and defense was slow,the offensive team tactics was not fluent,the score of center,the score fast break and good three point shooter were less.
