On KongYingDa’ s Interpretation of Confucian Poetics

Abstract

KongYingda inherited and developed Chinese traditional confucian poetics.He put forward a series of poetic propositions that the of Feng and Ya are related to social politics poetry should express people’s volunteer,the music should sing people’s thinking and should express anger and uneven to reply to proper condition ,etc.He initiated new concepts of Confucian poetics ofCheng,Zhi,Chi,thus prompting aesthetic education function and aesthetic sentiment of to unification.He also put forward theory that poetry and music are one and have same function,and he examined carefully that and music helped each other to grow,and complex historical phenomenon such as sound did not change as lyrics changed constantly,revealing that music education contain education in ancient times,and separation of and music during Spring and Autumn period.His emphasis on poetic rhyme pushed poets to pursue rhythm in early Tang dynasty.KongYingda also brought theory of San Ti San Yong and reasonablly solved series of suspense about Six Meaning of Shi,which promoted theory of aesthetic image and artistic conception to a deeper and mature degree.
