Abstract
As a new arrangement of China's regional development strategy,the major functional areas will have a tremendous impact on the district regional economy.Based on understanding of major functional areas from the perspective of theoretical innovation in regional development,from the regional division standards,regional concept,the homogeneity government and the heterogeneity region,the concrete operation of major functional areas,the standards of major functional areas and regional development and so on,have explained the restraint intrinsic of major functional areas by district regional economy.And regional regulatory policy is concentrated expression at present,and has pointed out the coordinated development choice from the necessary policy system and the current policy key.
