Abstract
The results of investigations on species of zooplankton in the prawn pond show: The dominant species of zooplankton were Oithona nana,Schmackeria duia,Paracalanus, Tortanus derjugini,Halicyclops royi,Acartia spinicauda,Pseudoiaptomus marinus,Brachionus urceus,Polychaeta larva,Brachyura larva,Copepoda larva and the non dominant species of zooplankton were Sagitta jabarensis pathansalis,Sagitta enflata, Onycholamptus mobammed,Labiadocera dubia,Acrocalaus gibber, Apocylops royi,Labidocera sinilobata in the prawn pond of Zhuhai and Shenzhen and Lianjiang Longyingwei Because some species of zooplankton such as Onycholamptus mobammed, Ostracod and Cyclopoida are predators or scavengers, these species of zooplankton may be WSSV hosts
