The Investigation of the Repair of the Unilateral Complete Cleft Lip Accompanying Nasal Deformity

Objective To investigate the method for simultaneous correction of unilateral complete cleft lip and nasal deformity.Methods On the basis of the Millard procedure,we devised two flaps at the bottom of nasal alar and nasalis to repair nasal deformity,and used Z flap to improve line scar contraction after operation.Results We used the method to treat 11 patients and the result was satisfactory.Conclusions The method is simple and easy to master.With this method,there is no need to removing any lip tissue and the nasal deformity would be improved.
