Abstract
Objective: To determine the plasma and lung tumor necrosis factor(TNF), Interleukin-6(IL-6) activity in acute lung injury of rabbits with ischemia-reprefusion of intestine. Methods: Rabbits were divided into three groups, which were normal control, ischemia(60min), ischemia(60min) plus reperfusion (1h、2h、4h) groups. Plasma IL-6,TNF activity in different time points and pathologic changes were observed. Results: Plasma TNF ,IL-6 activity was hanced at 1h post ischemia (P0.01). High continutly at 1h after reperfusion(P0.01),and was lower then, nearly normal control lever at 4h after reperfusion. TNF,IL-6 activity in lung, were obviously higher after intestinal ischemia-reperfusion group than normal control group (P0.05). lung pathological examination was changed in ischemia-reperfusion group and ischemia group than normal control group. Conclusion: Ischemia-reperfusion resulted in sever lung injuries, as seen by changed of plasma and lung TNF,IL-6 activity which may lead to pulmonary dysfunction.
