Abstract

White rot fungus is a kind of special fungus which can degrade artificial dyes by special enzymes.The treatment methods of dye effluent,the biological characters of white rot fungus,and its mechanism of pollutant is briefly introduced.The recent research progress about dye degration by white rot fungus is reviewed as well.In addition,some suggestions on the prospective application in the treatment method of dyeing effluent by white rot fungus is presented.
