Abstract
After China's access to the WTO, foreign direct investment (FDI) grew at an sustained and stable pace and many entry barriers against the outside were gradually loosened. It is time for domestic logistics industry to enter the stage of international competition. However, China's logistics industry (their competence is to be improved) is still in the initial process of transforming from traditional logistics to modern logistics. This paper aims at bringing out some developing strategies for domestic logistics industry by analyzing the current conditions of China's logistics industry and the competitive edge of the multinational logistics enterprises according to some characteristics of modem logistics.
