Abstract

Beloved written by Toni Morrison is a great novel describing the black women's inner mind and trapped human being under Slavery. This essay thinks the heroine Sethe has no choice but killing her daughter in order to protect her, and also analyzes Slavery is the root of the black mother's abnormal mothering.
