Abstract

The paper is the 3rd part of the preface of Zhuangzi Essence.Scholars in Qing Dynasty considered that the external and appendix of Zhungzi weren't written by Zhuangzi.But till today,many scholars have been considering that many of them are written by Zhuangzi or discribed Zhuangzi thought,and some sentences from them are quoted as Zhuangzi's words.Zhuangzi Essence discusses the external and appendix of Zhuangzi,pointing out that some chapters are written by successors of Taoism,in order to explain Laots Tao and Zhuangzi highteousness and some are from Confucian and Legalist.
