Abstract

The relative fatness of Anourosorex squamipes in winter was studied during December, 2003 to February, 2004. The result showed that there were no significant differences between different habitats and sexual difference with respect to relative fatness. The relative fatness changed significantly in different age groups, and it was significantly higher in sub-adult individuals than that in adult ones. In winter, the monthly relative fatness negatively correlated with its monthly population size (r=-0.96460, P0.01).
