Abstract
The plant dyestuff of walnut peel extract is used to dye the silk fabrics. The ammonium ferrous sulfate is chosen as the mordant dyeing agent with K/S value as the evaluation index of the dyeing effect. The result shows that the silk fabrics can obtain good dyeing fastness and thickness by using post mordant dyeing technology with the colored light of the fabrics being reddish yellow. The orthogonal test makes sure the optimum condition of post mordant processing with the following specific parameters. The temperature is 60℃,the mordant agent amount is 2g/l,the dyeing time is 30 min,and the pH value is 6.
