Study of Ethnic Bilingual Education in View of Language Ecology

The diversity of language is the result of human adaptation of environment for thousands of years.Protecting the language ecological balance is to protect the survival environment of ourselves.Bilingual education is the important foundation for the ethnic minorities to participate in the economic and social development in multinational countiy.In this article,in the perspective of language ecology we analyzed the factors of the development of bilingual education,which is one of the measures to protect the linguistic diversity.We can improve the quality of bilingual education and seek the harmonious development of the language through establishing the idea of multicultural education,strengthening the research on bilingual education theory,formulating laws and regulations to safeguard the bilingual education,increasing investment in bilingual education,cultivating qualified bilingual teachers,setting up diversified bilingual courses etc.
